We're After Youth Power

A qualitative study of how young people aged 13 to 30 actually give their time. Two depth interviews and a 7-day digital diary with young people across England and Wales, alongside interviews with 16 volunteering sector leaders. Inside: why young volunteers deliberately don't tell their peers what they do, why hobbies beat causes as the gateway in, why many are postponing volunteering for 30 to 40 years, and five actions the sector can take when awareness is no longer the problem.
