The Context
Youth volunteering in the UK has enormous potential. Millions of young people want to contribute to causes they care about, but finding the right opportunities has traditionally been fragmented and frustrating.
Impactful set out to change that - creating a modern, mobile-first platform that makes it effortless for young people aged 13-30 to discover organisations, create their own ideas for volunteering, post about their activities and earn impact coins.
Enjoy Development was engaged to design and build the platform from the ground up, taking it from initial concept through to launch on iOS and Android app stores.

The Challenge
Building a volunteering platform for young people presented several unique challenges that required careful consideration from both a technical and ethical perspective.
